Folks,

I have noticed on my RR, that the external door trim strips that I presume are used to stop door dings/dents etc., well they are all starting to become loose, I can see a point soon where I am going to have to remove them and re-stick them.

Probably a silly question but I'm going to ask it anyway, what do people use to re-stick these?

I am thinking of;

1. Use masking tape to mark top and bottom, left and right positions of each strip
2. Remove one at a time, clean the area behind
3. Fix suitable sticking tape to the back of each strip and re-apply

....or not put them back on...

but if you do like them then i would suggest 3d or mammoth tape.. ... - .- -.

I presume you are referring to the "accessory black stick on strips" dealers fitted?

If so, definitely ditch them sir imho they look gash!!!

I have no idea, I have one on each door, sits about half way down each door, made of vinyl/plastic type but I presume they fend off doors from opening onto bodywork etc.

I had those on my 4.4V8 too - mine were Zambezi silver the same as the rest of the vehicle. Was really annoyed the replacement RR didn't have them. Land Rover Addict

ok so I'll have a think about whether to remove them for good or just re-fix them more securely.

If you do decide to remove them put them for sale on here.
You can't get them now and are very scarce and will probably sell quite well.

I might take them off, they just keep coming un-stuck. I am presuming underneath it is just flat bodywork?
