Land Rover Experience

Those nice people I bought my car from have just sent me a voucher for a half-day Land Rover Adventure. Has anyone done one of these? Are they good, or should I give it to somebody as a present?! Wink

I'm looking at Eastnor or Luton Hoo - any experiences of either?

I've done Eastnor............why would you not want to go round the hallowed test routes that are used for developing new models ?

Well worth it, and I'd also pay for an upgrade and get a full days course if you can.

The hero that is Roger Crathorne is sometimes there.

Does it have a "use by" date ?

Could get a go in an L405 !!

Perhaps wishful thinking....... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I've not done any, but have bought my wife a half-day in Honiton back when I bought my 110.

We all tumbled into the briefing room and were all given coffee, biscuits and the talk for free before Clare headed out in a new 110.

Have always wanted to do Eastnor, though. We were there at the LR show last weekend and it's a truly gorgeous place.

I'd also recommend the full day course. Si. <This is my name.

I went to the Skipton centre a few weeks back.
Took the other half too, we both had a great time.
Eye-opening!

Thanks everybody - looks like it's going to be Eastnor, then. Not sure I want to do a whole day, because they start at 9 am and it'll take at least 3 hours to get there. Could always go the night before and stay over, I suppose, but then we'd have to find somewhere to stay that will allow us to take the hound as well. Or else we can all sleep in the Rangie. Very Happy

Good point about the new L405, I hadn't thought of that! There's no date written on the voucher. I spoke to the centre yesterday and they said you have 6 months to use the voucher from the time you register it with them, so I just didn't register it. I wanted to avoid driving round the country when there's a chance of snow on the roads (I was thinking December-ish), but then I realised I don't have to worry about such things these days...

I'll report back when I've done it! Bet I will end up upgrading to the full day in the end though. I know what I'm like. Laughing

I'm amazed anyone can actually get on one of these. I've got a voucher and called up for Eastnor a couple of weeks ago - "sorry sir no weekends available - have to wait until march. but march dates not available yet... Got the email on Monday saying march has been released - called up today to be told that there are no weekends available. tried weekdays too and there's nothing in December or Jan.

AAAARRRGGGHHHH!
