After searching through the forum and trying many combinations of search i gave up as nothing was found , there is ceratinlty some very good posts on retro fitting to to older models but not mine hence me posting the question. If you know the answer then a appropriate response accordingly would be fantastic and much appreciated. Current 2010 Vogue SE, Stornoway Grey with Storm Leather,Deployable steps, Vision Pack

I fully echo what Baben has said. Plug paddles into the appropriate plug. Enable with Faultmate and they should work. If not get a friendly dealer to update your gearbox software. I had to get this done. It was the most frustrating part of the process as the official local dealer would not do it because LR Australia did not believe it would work. I can assure you that it will. If it was not for Baben and his kind help I never would have succeeded. |

Baben, is there an easy way to check the software without fancy tools? Cheers, Andy. 2015 L405 SDV8 Autobiography, Indus Silver with Black Pack. Male socket on the paddles and the same on the RH steering wheel buttons that it connects into, hence the need for a 4pin female to female jumper cable. A brief oversight on my part as I forgot about this but it is clearly mention by Baben

I have checked with Dan and he cannot find any reference to the jumper cable in the catalogue so my £3.11 fix is probably as good as any It's only 4" long so should be perfect for the job.

not that I know of. You will need a friendly dealer, a Faultamte or similar. I reckon if your car is post July 2010 build, it will prbably work. Strangely, mine was a few weeks younger than Stono, and he needed an update and I didn't. Or maybe the SA dealers just update software automotically? |
