After searching through the forum and trying many combinations of search i gave up as nothing was found , there is ceratinlty some very good posts on retro fitting to to older models but not mine hence me posting the question. If you know the answer then a appropriate response accordingly would be fantastic and much appreciated. Current 2010 Vogue SE, Stornoway Grey with Storm Leather,Deployable steps, Vision Pack

Fair enough!

Have a look here first, especially the last 4 pages as they deal with recent L322 such as yours.

if you have the following software configuration in transmission, then it is plug n play, IF you can get someone to enable the paddles in the car configuration with a Faultmate or similar tool:

Software number AH42-7J104-AJ
Software number 2 AH42-14C389-AE
Core assembly part number AH42-14C247-AC
Delivery assembly number AH42-7000-BH
Main calibration part number AH42-7J105-BM
Boot software ID AH42-14C247-AC
Active network configuration 6006

Stonosam needed a software upgrade to get his working. Mine just needed anabling

I fully echo what Baben has said. Plug paddles into the appropriate plug. Enable with Faultmate and they should work. If not get a friendly dealer to update your gearbox software. I had to get this done. It was the most frustrating part of the process as the official local dealer would not do it because LR Australia did not believe it would work. I can assure you that it will. If it was not for Baben and his kind help I never would have succeeded.

Hi just ordered my paddle shift steering wheel from dan,
Then it's a mind boggling technical stuff to go through, to get the paddle shifts working.

Question guys

Do I go for the remote control route from maplin ?

Or do I use the heater module.

Thanks

Oops sorry I have already posted this on the wrong thread Embarassed

Paddles arrived this week (thanks Dan) and are now fitted to my car. I found a suitable "temporary" 4pin female to female cable to use for now but its a bit long Embarassed

I have ordered one of these to use instead:

As per Baben's very useful information it's wired correctly as the + & - are illuminated Cool so that just leaves enabling the CCF Confused

The car is in for a service next week and I have spoken to the dealer and have arranged to have a word with the relevant technician about enabling paddle shift Shocked Lets hope it can be done or else I'm looking for a southerner with a faultamate Whistle

Male socket on the paddles and the same on the RH steering wheel buttons that it connects into, hence the need for a 4pin female to female jumper cable. A brief oversight on my part as I forgot about this but it is clearly mention by Baben Embarassed

Let me know the outcome on your entry/exit issue as mine is suffering from the same Crying or Very sad

Thanks for the info, must order some from Dan does he do te cable as well i wonder Question just collected the car and as usual had to retune and reset everything but hey presto software update apparently and now steering wheel moves but dont think the sate did!! Auto lights also working and they changed my back lights without asking (apparently there safety check showed condensation) result and they installed a new battery two weeks ago again with out asking so Thumbs Up for Stratstones in Cardiff at last, though did have a word with new service manager about past performances. I think that Mick had the same problem with steering wheel so quite fixable.

One thing left to sort out and that is the Blue screening of the passemger side fornt and mirrior camera keeps bluescreening and they have order a link cable Question Current 2010 Vogue SE, Stornoway Grey with Storm Leather,Deployable steps, Vision Pack

I have checked with Dan and he cannot find any reference to the jumper cable in the catalogue so my £3.11 fix is probably as good as any Whistle It's only 4" long so should be perfect for the job.

Lets see if my dealer is as accomodating regarding software updates and condensation in the lights Rolling Eyes

not that I know of. You will need a friendly dealer, a Faultamte or similar. I reckon if your car is post July 2010 build, it will prbably work. Strangely, mine was a few weeks younger than Stono, and he needed an update and I didn't. Or maybe the SA dealers just update software automotically?
