... Car tax went up in last weeks budget. Just renewed mine and it was £290. The renewal letter said £285. They kept that quiet didn't they! Before an election as well. |

I still renewed it at 265 for 6 months (hoping to have the FFRR on its way here before the end of the 6 months) MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

I made the same error......leaving 2 of the fleet until the last minute cost me an extra tenner.

Road tax paid on 26 March and it was actually 275 for 6 months and 500 for 12 months. The letter stated 275 and that is what I paid. Must be the date then. Not fair though, the letter should at least mention that after 1 April it would go up to X and not just do it. Governments / tax departments, don't live by the same rules as the general public and business world MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Tell me about it! Have sold a couple recently but still have 7 cars here 3 are high but 2 only get used in summer months |
