A well known issue Sir. Probably the Throttle Body, mine had one under warranty as did my Wife's S Type R (4.2 S/C) and an XKR Convertible I had a while back.

Yep, mine was like that. Fine for a while and then crapped itself at the most in-opportune moment. Strongly recommend you get the fault codes read. |
