So thinking of upgrading and there are some nice 5.0 autob's up at 2010 model. For those in the SC club please let me know what I should look out for when looking to buy. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

I agree with Stan, if you are concerned with the potential costly work that you could get, get a warranty. Sofar (fingers and other appendages crossed while lying flat on wooden floor) my 5.0 SC has been doing its job faultlessly, it does howeve not do a lot of miles at the moment either. Make sure you look at rear wheel arches and upper tailgate sills for corrosion. I bought a MY11 4.4tdv8 last year and was amazed that several vehicles onmain dealer forecourts of this age had evidence of corrosion in these areas.

Check that the seat heating and cooling works OK, warranty essential as Stan mentions, check the state of wiring on the front struts (it wears leading to Adaptive Dynamics fault), the TFT display (make sure no dead pixels). Other than that go for it and enjoy! Takes off like a stabbed rat when you hit the loud pedal SDV8 AB MY 2019
