More expense !!

Noticed this hole today... must have been a stone as I've not been off road. Have ordered a glass and new rubber seal. Just seen a video about how to remove the headlight on a 2003 and I must say, bit more work than I expected. Will need to borrow an extra long 1/4 inch extension for the bottom nut. Video showed how to clip the new glass on but not how to remove the clips in the first place.

Cheers. The other video I saw was working on the same headlight . My broken one is on the drivers side where it is a pig to get at the retaining device for the side light/indicator due to the air box and assorted pipes. Wonder what will break as I remove all the wiper bits and trim.....

Whatever you do don't break the lug that the indicator fixes to, ours did and it cost £500 for a new headlamp unit (xenon bulbs) on a 2003

Soon as the money left my account, Ebayer tells me that they are waiting for the seals and asks if I am prepared to wait. NO. Refund please. If you haven't got it, don't bill oddie advertise it. Found another glass on Ebay at £65 delivered and it arrived today. Fitted no problem in an hour although it took another hour to whip of the engine under tray and retrieve the clips from the air filter housing- two of which dropped off as I removed it.
