When I am driving at low to medium speeds in normal ride height I can hear a noise which sounds like "pink - pink" and it occurs with slight suspension movements, over small bumps, lumps etc. It is most noticable at low speed.

Did it happen before you changed the discs/pads? Used to have this happen on my D1 when I didn't use OE parts, bloody pads would move around and 'tink' .... Land Rover Addict

Thinking about this, if it were the pads surely they'd make those noise all the time in all suspension heights, it's only in normal ride height. could be the abs sensor being loose...makes noise in standard but when stretched or compressed (off road & access) then no noise... ... - .- -.

Ball joint gone dry! You stretch them in other suspension modes and they shut up!

The thing is, it's not a metallic knocking, clunking, clinking sound, it's a 'Pink' noise, almost like a stretchy squeaky noise. Discovery 4 HSE

That's the usual noise Adam. Turns into a harsh graunching noise as it gets drier...

get someone to rock the steering wheel slightly and look at the suspension from under the front end of the car, you can clearly see all of the front ball joints. with the steering being rocked you may be able to see play in one of the joints and the knuckle moves. As Craig said there are a few to look at. I would start with the lower suspension arm (short one at front) where it joins the knuckle, thats the one which went first on mine. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
