Something like this

But I know nothing about them and am worried that I will buy a bag of crap - has anyone had any experience of them ?

United Kingdom

i had one a few years back.

they are great fun, but i had exhausted all the byways in my area so ended up selling as it was bloody noisy when on the road, think top speed was around 50mph.

parts were cheap enough from memory but there was a dealer close by so sourcing was never an issue, think ebay is best bet for replacement parts, i only ever had to replace a CV joint and pads, no other problems apart from that.

if you've got access to a lot of byways or land then get one as they are just bags of fun powersliding round dirt tracks.

i paid £1200 for mine which was an 06 back in 2009/10, had no MOT though, and i did manage to get it in a back of a transit van when i picked it up Laughing
i ended up selling for around £1500, so £1800 seems abit steep, i hired the 500cc version in Cyprus last year, although a little bit faster it just wasn't as fun to drive. You can paypal direct using - www.paypal.me/duckworthparts

Thanks - was the noise the exhaust or the tyres ?

I've got a static caravan in France - by a lake in the middle of a pine forest - so thinking of something to run around in - but I don't want Censored off everyone else if it's too loud....
