Got my daughter the ipad for her birthday today , problem now is the wife and older daughter want one , and i was wondering if any of you guys could answer my question.

On iTunes i noticed there is a link which says Home Sharing am i right or wrong in thinking that if i activate this , on purchasing any Books, Music, whatever, When i go to sync my daughters IPAD will it also sync the same items when i go to sync my IP4, the wife's IP3GS, and also the other two IPADS that i might have to buy or will i have to purchase items from iTunes separately for each piece of equipment.

Do you use the same iTunes library to sync each of your iOS devices?

If so then anything purchased through your or your wifes/daughters iTunes account will be synced to this library and then subsequently on to each of the devices connected with it. You can however select what you would and would not like to sync with each device (so you can leave your daughters Girls Aloud off of your iPhone!). There is no limit to the number of iOS devices that can use any purchased content from a single iTunes Store account, however there is a limit of 5 Macs/PC's that can use the content (not a problem if you are only using a single computer).

Home Sharing is a networking option that allows you to share your iTunes content quickly and easily between all of you home computers. This option has no bearing on the sync between iTunes and iPhone/iPod/iPad.
