One of my biggest regrets was never taking the chance to see the "real deal".

Tried (unsuccessfully) to get tix for Dave Gilmour in London. Was online dead on 10am yesterday and couldn't even get a single "Billy no mate ticket"! Whistle Big Cry Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I'm a huge fan of Pink Floyd and if you have seen them three times, you are truly blessed. Lucky You! Cool

Yep, one of my biggest regrets too!

David Gilmour is the coolest guy on the planet. My brother in law mentioned last night that David was going to play a few dates and I said to him the tickets would be gone straight away. Crying or Very sad

How did you manage that Craig? Were you on some pre-sale list? Seemed there were no tickets almost immediately. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Lucky You, Craig!

I've seen some available for around £800 - £1300. Not surprised by this in the slightest.

What annoys me most about this type of thing is that almost immediately after the tickets go on general sale, they appear on other websites at grossly inflated prices. How is that these site can get so many tickets so soon after they go on sale? My cynical side suggests that these big sellers actually have a hand in these "secondary" sales websites and make money again, having already ripped people off for "admin" charges.

I also read that there was a postage charge for EACH ticket! Censored Censored Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

Yes, i fear you are right Alan... Im sure the government put a system in place to stop this happening and that was on something like Panorama in the last 6 months or so as to NOT working!

I never got to see Pink Floyd all together, but did get to see Roger Waters In the Flesh tour at Wembley when Nick Mason turned up as a guest drummer......so I was half-way there.

I can certainly vouch for The Australian Pink Floyd show, though never seen Brit-Floyd.

I don't have much time for Mr Waters after he sacked poor Rick Wright, but the funny side of that is that Rick (as a non-member of the band and therefore a hired employee) was the only one to make any money out of the loss-making "The Wall" tour. Rolling with laughter

I often view this. For atmospheric reasons alone, it is fabulous.
