l405 wheels now fitted thoughts please

Hi guys, my cousin has a l405 and has upgraded his wheels so has offered me his 21 inch style 5 wheels. I have had a look at the thread regarding l405 wheels but have a few questions.

Firstly does my 05 vogue 4.4 se autobiography have tyre pressure monitors and would changing them affect this system?
Has anyone any experience of ride quality running 21 inch over the 20' standard rims.
I presume the stud pattern is the same but are there any fitment issues i should be aware of like offset, wheel nuts and so on?
Also any advice regarding the change of rolling radius and effect on speedo?

Thanks in advance for any advice, cheers marky Thumbs Up

I can only relate the ride comfort to the 22s that were on mine originally and because of the significant sidewall profile increase, it is transformed. It seems extremely compliant and comfortable to me - certainly not terms I would have used to describe the 22s!

The speedo reading on mine is still slightly over GPS so not noticed any difference at all and they slotted straight on... 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

Hi cam-tech-craig, looking at the two links you posted it looks like those style 5 rims are finished in silver whereas the ones i am looking at are a diamond cut finish and anthracite. I am a bit confused as someone mentioned in the link that replicas are 20 inch with a 55 profile. The ones i am looking at have a diffrent finish and are 275/45/21. Were they available in choice of colour and size?

many thanks marky

Of course Stan - not particularly great photography but should give you a slightly different perspective of them

Thank you Smile

They are the 21s, which seem a good compromise to me.

I believe that the running boards are original equipment, but stand to be corrected! 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE
