A year has now passed since I picked up my 58 plate 4.2sc and loving it just as much as the first day I drove it home. This beauty has taken me to Scotland and back twice in effortless comfort and to the point where we only stopped once in 500 miles each way and that was to fill up and empty out, I have LPG and rip off fuel on board. The RR is so comfortable for everyone in my family and for once my 3 year old can see out the windows so gets irritated less.
A trip to Brittany with the rest of my family was interesting, one had a sports car and complained I was driving too fast on country roads  . Don't know if anyone else has noticed this but 3 cars 3 different satnav's and the RR's always wanted A roads rather than fast route to motorway. Nice to have plenty of room in the back to fill up with French produce as well and take on the speed humps at Dover without worrying about ripping off the bottom of the car.
The LPG conversion has impressed even my local specialist for its quality fitting, some fit it in such a way you have problems re-gassing the aircon and it still impresses me with the costs per mile. Just filled up today for £48 and will get around 240 miles for that £48 at 59.9p a litre. I mention Air-con as it needed re-gassing after only 6 months so a leak is being investigated before the warranty runs out.
Only problem with the RR.........Ebay and the fact that so many more wonderful products become available for pick-up.
I can categorically say that I am now hooked on this marque and will always have one in my life, it truly is the most complete car I have ever and will ever own. If your reading this wondering about getting one, stop reading and get hunting for the best your money can buy. You won't regret it and don't dismiss petrol, my Uncle has the TDV8 and with my LPG conversion I get better mileage, it sounds better, and with the 4.2sc it goes like stink causing jaws to drop when some try and take you on.
Here's to another year of trouble free motoring and a new warranty, just in case.
