filling the tank on my 2003 L322

Hi Guys and Gals, just a question, and maybe some advise, the fuel tank on mycar doesn,t show full on the guage, just under 3/4 I fills fine up to that level then keeps clicking off. l was wondering if the fuel guage is wrong or if there is some other trickery i should know about.

Look forward to any advise.

Would guess the tank sender has been changed sometime and not reading full when it actually is full.
No trickery, mine clicks off when nearing the full mark, gauge reads full too. If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

Your tank has 2 senders (gauge readers) one each side (like horses saddle bags)

The fuel gauge takes an average reading from both... If one is not reading correctly then it will never go above 3/4 and often runs out at 1/4 too...

This thread may help...
