After dramas with trailer wiring resolved I took the maiden voyage with the Hard Top Trailer Tent last weekend. Went to the Dryandra woodlands 160klm south of Perth. Fuel economy jumped from the long term 8.8 litres per 100klm to 8.9 going but returned to 8.8 on the way home. A bit of a test trip to check out the wiring I have done, electric brake controller, 2nd 100amp battery and charge control with solar panel integration. 12v Fridge Freezer. I even swapped the 19inch rubber for a set of 265 60 18`s I have. All in all a flawless trip.
