Not so sure about the fanny magnet but maybe it gives the girls the impression that you might be their sugar daddy! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

Like you wouldnt believe Crying or Very sad Especially my eldest as he is smart and very aware of what goes on.

Time has certainly made a difference and sometimes it is me who is the weak one and they provide my strength.

Had my birthday this weekend and they made a cake and sung happy birthday etc. and it hurts as i dont get to see them everyday. I never wanted to be a part time weekend dad but have to make do. Ultimately it want my decision Evil or Very Mad

Count yourself lucky you get at least to see them, our 6 yr old son died suddenly with no known cause a week before Xmas 2008.
FFND enjoy your kids when you get to see them, it may feel like a bum deal, but boy it is better than ours!

Such tragic news Specman.

Heaven only knows how you and your family find the strength to come to terms with that happening.

My heart goes out to you.

Specman i am truly very sorry to hear of the news about your 6 year old son. I can think of nothing worse and like delamo my heart goes out to you and your family. I cannot imagine the pain you felt and the strength of character you needed to go on.

My sons are 7 and 12 now and i absolutely treat the time with them as if it were my last. I am not ungrateful about the little time i have with them as i cherish it. My Ex would say i was a better father now but i have always been there for my kids and they were never without love.

If anything, i am angry with myself for the lost years i spent working hard chasing dreams to make their life better and thinking that would give them happiness. I grew up on a council estate in Essex and wanted to give my wife and my boys the best of everything. I have since realised that time together, love and memories far outweigh material things like nice houses and dare i say fancy cars.
