"Must do" tips for Vegas

Hi all
Bit out there, but am flying out to Vegas in April with other half for a week for my 40th.
1st time there and always wanted to go.
Have helicopter over Canyon and a few other bits booked. Staying in Luxor. Not too worried about clubs but do like a good bar, wanna "play" gambling but nothing serious.

Anyone been and any tips?
What not to miss etc?

Cheers all

1. Don't get p1shed and think it would be cool to get married in the drive through

2. Leave your credit card at home

Cirque du Soleil show 'Ka' at the MGM Grand, stunning
Rent a car and go to Death Valley
If you're OK with heights and being scared Censored , the Stratosphere Tower is amazing
White tigers at the Mirage
Jousting in the bar at the Excalibur, a bit cheesy but great fun, steaks excellent
Try your hotel concierge to get tickets for a big name show Graham

I got married in Vegas in 2010, real cheesy Elvis do. Hoover dam is worth doing a guided tour. There is a bus service that runs up and down the strip and for a few bucks you can travel all day.
The first day we were there we walked from Luxor to the other end of the strip, its miles as the scale of everything is huge, my fiancée ended up with blisters and could hardly walk down the isle !
Bally's had a good old fashioned Vegas show.

Agree with others, leave credit card at home. Enjoy Current:

Here you go :

Besides the obvious Strip and Casinos.

Death Valley, stay in Furnace Creek one or 2 nights
Land Rover Las Vegas, talk to Ray, Rick or Mark and ask if you can see their historic vehicules
Exotics racing and race a supercar or two
LV Speedway
Dragster races at LR Speedway
Shelby American museum and factory
the north and south factory outlets
Fashion show mall
Rio bar up the tower (51st story iirc)
Boot Barn south of the strip
Fremont street
Neon Museum

any question PM me - I kind of know the place and most of the hotels... Whistle l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

All of the above......

But a week's long enough in honesty...

Take a Lambo hire car to the Hoover Dam and then around Lake Meade....huge flat empty roads..... Thumbs Up

Not a fan of the strip....though its kinda the point of vagarse....outlet malls and Fremont are worth a look...forgot the name but a large hotel downtown has its own onsite brewery....that was a good day-night-day Whistle Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Take a walk in the evening and enjoy the balmy weather. Stop by the Bellagio for the fountain show and continue on. Have a seat and just watch how life passes you by in Vegas. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel is brilliant.

first thing to do is to re-new your wedding vows in the little white chapel , then your wife will be like putty in your hands for the rest of the holiday... ... - .- -.
