Mines just gone through no bother, the MOT guy saw the front sidelight flash when the cold monitoring went off, he thought the FF was winking at him !!!

I've got LED sidelight, front fog light and reverse light bulbs, had its MOT last October and passed no problem.

The only reason that Led bulbs could cause a failure on the MOT is colour, as long as you have white light at the front and red at the rear with Amber for the indicators, there is no reason to fail your car. If you had, for example, Blue in the front side lights, not only will your car fail the MOT but the Boys in Blue will also be very keen to talk to you as well. And then there are those Muppets that fit Red to the front side lights, that's a fail, nick, and accident waiting to happen, or maybe they just can't make their minds up as to whether they are coming or going Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

^^ Advise ? Why ? your bulbs may out last the car ? or were they a bit too blue for his liking? Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

I haven't done the pole, because I have yet to get an MOT on the FFRR, however I will say that with confidence that it will pass. Might involve an argument and phone calls to VOSA, but there is no way that you'd be able to convince me that fitting a bulb that is virtually indestructible, and has an expected life that exceeds all other bulbs and most cars, is not road worthy. And I don't think I'd back down
