FBH slowly killing me

Hello everyone,
This is new to me as I have only purchased my L322 HSE TD6 `54 plate end of last year. Nice car, nice to drive and very comfy. But alas, my first head ache of a problem that I hope you guys are more helpful than our local land rover dealer.

I have searched this forum for similar problems that people have had, and there are quite a few, but give me an answer.

Every time I drive the car round to my garage, park up and before I can shut the garage door I am choked by the smoke that the FBH has filled my garage with when it has shut down. This makes me stink of diesel smoke and also my garage. I have spoke T H Whites ( my local dealer ) they say it is normal when engine is switched off. I would like to disable this heater but they say it is not possible. Is it possible to remove fuse 59 to disable the heater? or would this interfere with the CPU?

My indie LR garage pulled the fuse as my FBH wasn't working at all. The FBH was recognized by the Autologic tool (prior to pulling the fuse out) but could't be fired up. No problems whatsoever with the fuse out.

e: the Autologic part

Thanks SASS. I will try that. Bit scared it would have caused other problems, but if yours worked I will have a go. Would have been so much easier for the dealer to suggest that.

JAYBOY, it might be working, but only with the engine running, timer never fired it up. Really do not see much point of it really
