ON / OFF LED BLINKING

Hi all, could someone help / confirm please. Just purchased my 2nd RR, (last was a P38). Have upgraded to a 2006 4.2 Supercharged. Been using it all weekend to check everything works and have noticed that when I turn the ignition off the power LED in the on off button on the touchscreen flashes for about 30 seconds then stops. I have had a good look through this fab forum and seen posts related to the flashing LED but they all seem to be linked in with fibre optic faults or water ingress (MOST) and the LED blinking continually. I have absolutely no faults (I think). Everything is working as it should. Now it could be the LED flashing for 30 seconds on key removal is normal but I have been through the RR manual and can find no mention of it. Should i mention I think mine has pretty much all the extra bits (venture cam, rear entertainment pack) not sure this makes any difference. Thanks for reading.

That LED flashing is the Nav computer going to sleep , it is very important that the power supply is not cut during this period as the computer can get fried . 2008 MY Supercharged

As above Thumbs Up and also...

It flashes to tell the driver "I'm still awake and available" it means if waiting to collect someone or leaving passengers whilst you nip out, you don't need to leave your keys in the ignition... Press the button whilst its still flashing allows for the same audio stream you were just listening too to be continued Thumbs Up
