Click, Click, Click...how do you fill it up with Diesel

Had the car a few days now and I've tried three different fuel stations. Diesel nozzle in....pull lever, click, pull lever slightly less, clicky...and so on. Takes forever to fill up.

Is this common are is there something wrong with my recently acquired VSE? 2011 4.4 TDv8 Vogue SE

Check the wrong fuel safety device hasn't activated.

Also try putting the nozzle in upside down. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

What is this wrong fuel safety device you speak of? I eventual tried 'side on' which seemed to work slightly better. 2011 4.4 TDv8 Vogue SE

Only takes a BIG pot hole to make them deploy!!! Hence why you get a tool in the boot instead of visiting dealers!

The petrol nozzle is a different size and when you push it in it deploys the device which is spring loaded! You only have to touch it a couple of times and its ready to deploy when you strike the next pot hole... Thumbs Up
