Feeds from the surround cameras?

i have been thinking of getting a dash cam. However it also occurred that it might be worth trying to capture the feeds from the existing surround cameras and record those.

Has anyone tried this?

not heard anyone mention this here but if you can intercept the video feed to the screen and providing its rgb then its probably possible..

Even if you could, i thought the forward facing camera's were designed for parking? So, wrong alignment for forward facing/accident recording? The only one i would thing would be in the correct plain would be the "full beam assist" camera (under the rear view mirror) but i don't thing you can access this can you?

I'd fit a Rear facing one anyway so the reversing camera would be great.

I'd also put a new front facing one one. The front ones would be useful for the twunts who flash you out then t bone you deliberately (which front cameras might not pick up.

As they are there I wondered about capturing the feeds.
