If anyone has ever watched Mythbusters they will know that splitting an arrow cant be done, they tried, they tried lots and lots with robots ect. The best you can expect is a splinter. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

^ that's utter , you can 'robin hood' arrows very easily if your good enough...... Just ask how I know If it dont work.......burn it!
