That's a combination of strong wind and it being at just the right speed to start the oscillations. A bit like the Tacoma Narrows Bridge a few decades ago IIRC. Cool to watch tho.

Caused by vortex shedding on the downwind surfaces of the poles setting up the oscillations, also commonly happens with tall slender chimneys although they are normally protected by the fitting of spiral strakes.

Just put some helical strakes on and the problem is solved Smile MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
