France 2007 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

I see I will be banned from this full fat forum, only 21.9 but....
Maybe this post saves me....

The university of Alberta in Canada has proofed that the polyfenol resveratrol in RED wine has a very beneficial effect on your muscles, heart and skelleton in modest amounts 2 glasses a day this forms the equivalent of an hour of sport. (Sorry for the word modest)
Anyway it seems one of the reasons for what's called "the French Paradox" being that the French population is in a far better condition as can be expected from their way of life. Eating a lot of animal fat, vegetal fat and smoking a lot.

So there you go, just did two hours of intensive sport, get on with it.

May I please stay now with my very healthy BMI

It can't tell if you are overweight as in fat as it is just a weight to height index, for instance if you were a gym bunny and were super fit but carried a lot of muscle weight it would show you as overweight, then again people like Arnie would be super obese so I would not read too much into a simple BMI as on the other hand you could smoke 80 ciggys a day and drink a bottle of vodka and be in the healthy section but somehow I don't think you will be Very Happy

Absolutely. It's a statistic and it can be abused. Body fat can also be measured. For the full picture, it would only be one piece of evidence to look at.

Found it confusing. We usually do weight in pounds around here. I had to look up the kgs. Stones will just get you funny looks here. What gives? That means I have to learn the 14x table. Twisted Evil

28.6!! Overweight, 6'3 and 104 Kg's. Don't feel overwieght and I can run sub 10 minute miles, often running 6 miles plus in distance.

They reckon I should be 75 kg's, I'd be a stick insect!

Hardly been on the bike since all my hospital visits, then the crap weather so decided to stay inside and eat cake Shocked Laughing Laughing

Managed to get 32 miles in today and burn off 1500 calories so at least I've started and I'm going to the velodrome in the morning so another 1000 calories off tomorrow

My BMI will drop quickly enough over the next few months if I can manage to keep upright Whistle
