Accelera tyres - a no no?

Looking at some wheels, brand new, going to be fitted with Accelera tyres (brand new) for an extra £200. Seen them going for around £40 each, but he is fitting the alloys on them etc.

Are accelera suitable for a FFRR? Would they last long at all or the tread to wear off quick?

Thanks.

How long would you say they last, in miles? Before they need changing?

looking at the test results it looks like this tyre gets between 3 4 out of 5 ,so that aint bad ...as for miles , it depends how and where you drive....

It says 10.000 km. Is that 10 or 10,000 haha.
And driving around town, motorway sometimes, no more than 60/70mph.

As I have NEVER heard of Accelera tyres I would avoid them like the plague.

They may as well be called "My family will die in my car because I bought cheap ass tyres"

He will fit michelin for around £400, (fitting tyres to alloys not to car) so does that sound a decent price? Any certain number tyre to avoid/look for?

Used to run Toyos on the Alfa: very good tyres that were fitted as standard to TVR and Subaru at some point if memory serves me correct - sweet as! Don't know what they're like on a 4x4 though...
