It's nice to see a few serial car changers on here, I think I must be the only one with so many that has a kept a full list. I passed my test in 1990 but had a couple pre test (my first Orange Allegro at just 16yrs old!). I'm not sure if it's enthusiasm for getting 'new' cars or just a pathological fear of depreciation that drives me. Either way I've owned a lot (but less than some here!). Values have gone up and down like a yoyo from a 28k sport down to a 1k freelander and usually reflect the money being elsewhere!

I seem to gravitate back to land rovers quite a bit and nothing will ever be as special as my first full fat. My love affair with 4x4s started when I did an off road driving course in the 90's. I sold my car the day after and went and bought a Suzuki Vitari (yes, really). I did quite a lot of green laning after that but not recently and haven't took any FF properly off road. I prefer cleaning it these days to making it muddy!
