Smoking Rover.

My car is a 2012MY L322, registered January 2013, 4.4TDV8.

Under heavy acceleration it smokes like fury, leaving quite a significant smoke haze behind which is visible even by day.

I have it booked into Land Rover who mentioned a mod, however considering that it is Eurocat 5 and fitted with a DPF, I am surprised that any smoke is visible?

Is this a common issue and is it a problem?

Many thanks.

It would seem it's the issue mentioned in the link below;

Does anyone have the full technical bulletin mentioned in this? Is there a site where technical bulletins can be accessed?

LTB 00513 Technical Bulletin

Many thanks. I've just registered, however in order to access the bulletins I need to pay a subscription. Is there any way around this?
