Kampa air awning

Just got back into lugging a tin tent around.

Tin tent came with a full awning, but a bit too big for w/ends.

Had a look at the Kampa air awning at a dealers, but he didn't have other makes on show.

is Kampa the best and are they worth the extra money.

All advice gratefully recieved Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty, nothing else matters.

We have a Fiamma Zip that is in a bag that stays on the awning rail, takes literally 5 minutes to set up as just a canopy, which is all we use when just the 2 of us and then when we take the grandkids we put the sides on to create an almost full size awning and that takes about an easy(ish) 30 minutes - they can seem a bit expensive but we think it's worth it - take a look on the Fiamma website Thumbs Up

Kampa Rally Air I assume you mean. If so stay well clear of them. All the build quality of a fag box. I had 2, the second was a warranty replacement but went the same way in under 12 months. Send it back for a full refund eventually I was so sick of the damn thing. Look below and this was what the bladder link pipes went like in 12 months, both of them. Definitely steer well clear.

However, Bradcot now make one and I've ordered one of those. Vastly superior build quality based on the one I looked at at the show. Plus it's canvas which doesn't sweat like those nylon things.

I had trouble with Bradcot. I bought a seasonal Pitch awning from them a couple of years ago and when it arrived, there were small perforation holes in it, alongside the stitching. These holes were unexplainable and I sent pictures to Bradcot to see why they were there. They said it was as a result of the manufacturing process and not to worry about. However, at £1000 I was worrying. They refunded me £200 in the end. Oddly enough, when I went to the show at the NEC, They had a stand there and there were no holes in any of their awnings

I sell the Trigano Air (can't remember the official name) 280 and 390 in my shop and have had good feedback from customers about them.

I have a Vango Varkala and it's been superb. I am looking at a Vango Kalari as it's a bit deeper and I've been impressed with the quality (been using Isabella for 15 years). I also looked at the Kampa Rally Air 400. I thought it was pretty good but reading here it's not isn't good news....I will still with Vango if that's the case Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

We have a Bradcot Aspire Air and it is brilliant. Got the electric pump with it. Takes a couple of minutes to inflate, a few more to peg down and is nice and sturdy.
