So I am now being lazy i.e. not looked in the handbook - did I see somewhere that they can be set to come on at a given time??

Car is a 2010my VSE.

England 2009 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black

I have a 2009 model with this function on, its brill
my problem is I only have 1Remote key and don't know where to
get another.
Any ideas folks?

Yes, they need pairing with the car. It's in Wiki. If you do search there are some threads with how to do. One method in Wiki is to pull a fuse.

I found the most effective way was to pull the feed to the receiver on the right hand side of the boot. There are some threads with pictures. John
