rubber seal at bottom of windscreen

Hi folks,

Need a bit of expert help. Had battery changed last week but just noticed that when they fitted it they must have somehow moved the rubber trim that runs under the windscreen - I.e.between the dash and windscreen.

Reason I noticed is that when trying to read the vin on the dash on passenger side, there was a rubber seal bit poking out and blocking the number between the windscreen and vin plate.

Is this an easy fix to push back or do I need to go back to stealers to rectify which will be a PITA from past experience?

Thanks MY11 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - "African Queen"

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Bournville

I had this exact problem on my 2011, it had been badly fitted from new, I asked my dealer to fix under waranty but they ended up making it worse so the screen had to be removed and re fitted. This was followed by return trips to the dealer to re connect the rain sensor, trips to replace the plastic caps that they had reused and come loose and three months later the inevitable leaks started Crying or Very sad in hindsight I would have just left it as it was just cosmetic, any pics to see if it was the same ? 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

Hi jez000 thanks for letting me know. Couldn't get a PIC this weekend but will put one up asap. Hopefully as you say its just cosmetic. MY11 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - "African Queen"
