newbie with ffrr sc

newbie hi all ! have bought me self RRFF 4.2 SC 2005 Very Happy And i f@Xing love it! i have been reading allot on here and you all seem to know what you are doing Thumbs Up i may as well get to the 1st question do i need a IID tool and witch 1? 2nd question temp gauge seems to sit at 10.00 all the time is this the norm? heater never gets boiling hot like my toyota hiace van Laughing has 63000 m got a book load of invoices. service book stamped i know this means nothing! i can not see any thing to show if diffs or trans or gearbox have been serviced. should i get these done asap? drives very smooth bought of deeler. thanks every 1 Keep up the good work Thumbs Up

Welcome fella, lots on here about the iid tool, it's a must for those pesky green oval tantrums the RR throws up Thumbs Up
As for the temp gauge, mine sits at the 1200, but I'm not a sc though.

We all like pictures too of ffrr Cool If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

If the LC cant be fixed..............................................BUY a horse !!

yes i would buy the iidtool, you can have a read here and decide which type, http://www.gap-diagnostic.com/products/iidtool.html

both my td6 and SC have had the temperature 'needle' pointing straight up once warmed up...

for preventive maintenance i would get the gearbox, both diffs and transfer box done... ... - .- -.
