You are in the same situation as me. Does yours have auto wipers, if so the first setting should activate these?

ah ok good to know. It might be working as the speeds do vary but do not seem to update when the rain slows all that quickly.

Well it appears they do work. Left work, not raining, put wiper arm in 1st position, no wiper action. Started to rain 10 minutes into the journey home and the wipers kicked in |
