Nice car! I like that color a lot. Good job on refurbising the paint.

I like the bumper trim piece, but wonder if you had thought about Photoshopping the colour to Brunel Matt silver, like the grill/gills..

It looks a bit bright. But then, the car is brighter than most anyway.


I wanted a green one when I was hunting, (to buy, not to shoot) but ended up with a silver one. As this also matches the missus' Merc. But green is lovely. And the queen has green too. And her daughter as well.
Is it Tonga green?

Yes I do actually think the silver bumper splitter is a bit too bright and I've been wondering what to do with it. I actually thought about respraying it glossy black to match the wing mirrors and door handles but then it would lose that modern look of the 2010 models...

CY....per my last post. Can you take some measurements of that trim strip? I have a hard time believing it wouldn't fit 2006+ as it looks like the bottom portion (foglights down) of the 2 generations look the same. 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

Hi CY, I liked the look of your splitter addition which I had not seen available before. So ordered one up from Powerful UK and fitted at the weekend. Quite impressed by the robustness and quality, I held it up against the one on my later Westminster and colour and finish were exact match the Powerful item is about six inches shorter than OEM for 2006 onwards vehicles. Yes we all (well L322 owners) know it's a fake but it does cheer the front end up and with the later colour bonnet lettering and an updated grill works for me.
I found my attaching surface had a slight ripple possibly due to being 11 years old so used some additional sealant and used some Tye wraps to really hold it in place for 24 hours, it's rock solid now but will just keep an eye on the strength of attachment for a while. Thanks again CY for sharing your photos.

Some more pictures of my car from a recent off road trip in the west of Scotland. She looks good for a 14 year old car, I think, and gets compliments on her condition given her age and 122k mileage. I have now finished all the work I intended to do on her (see previous page) so am now in the phase of just enjoying her!
