Thanks for the welcome and I hope to be a active member for a long time, quick question I have been trying to find out info on the TDV8 4.4 where you get restricted performance appearing and on plugging it in on my diags it gives EGR/Sensor A/Sensor B/Superboost errors, this happened to mine a few weeks ago and I have now resolved it by replacing the actuator that controls the boost between the two turbos as the steel roll pin rusts on the stainless rod causing it to stick (You have to love Land Rover and their designs). I know a few people have had this issue and Land Rover Dealers seem puzzled by it and always go the route of replacing all the sensors to no avail, then the turbos which fixes this but at a great cost If this is already documented somewhere I will leave it but if not it is an easy fix for pennies compared to being strung out for thousands as I have seen with several others who have spent months with this issue and I fixed it in less than 2 hours. Thanks again, Will. |

Hi RR2008HSE, it has a 4" Suspension lift and a 4" body lift, custom made 18" extended jonny jointed trailing arms and custom made radius arms to correct the caster angles. It's running a HS 2.8 TGV with a ported head, reworked cam and a larger VNT hybrid 360 bearing turbo. Tyres are 37" but it is designed to run 40" TSL boggers but they are not road legal over here and are pants on the road. It has been like this for about 8 years now and is due a makeover soon. It has good manors on road not much different to a factory one to drive just a lot faster lol I have done over 80k with it like this and driven up and down motorways for hours at 70+ MPH without feeling like it's falling apart like some I have driven, it's like anything, if you put the time into doing it right it will last well. Here is a video at a local P&P site.
