L322/ SC Running Costs needn't be high

I recently had my front and rear discs, pads and sensors replaced.

The dealer wanted close to £900 all in, which is far too high for what is not a specialist job. I declined their offer.

I bought the parts from our great site sponsor Advanced Factors, Steve kindly made it easy by building a front and rear brake kit for me to order off his web page. http://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/009cr-ran...1860-p.asp

I had the fronts done in November and the rears done today.

As an example the fitting for front and rear was £66 inc VAT each time, and the parts were about £110 inc VAT & delivery and £180. So in total lets call it £420 rounded up, TOTAL. Shocked

So for those who are thinking of buying an L322 and wondering about the running costs, it doesn't need to be high, and these are the massive Brembo spec brakes for 2010MY SC too! Discovery 4 HSE

Thumbs Up for Advanced Factors from me too:

For my 4.2 SC I have just had front and rear Brembo brake discs, pads, wear sensors, copper grease - the lot - £340 all in, supplied and fitted (by a semi retired LR tech).
