Front Seat dismantle

EDIT
Dont worry I have taken the bull by the horns and gone in with all guns blazing feet first.
Hopefully my first post of the new year will be how to remove the backrest cover with photos

2003 TD6 HSE L322
Rave is wrong it doesnt match the seats in my car.
I have removed the passenger seat so I can swap the leather with the drivers seat squab and fit new foam to the drivers seat.
But I cannot dismantle the seat backrest so as to remove the squab and as I have already stated Rave is wrong about this.
So has anyone done this and can explain how to do this and did they take any photos of the job.

Frustratedly thanks

At which part of the procedure in RAVE does it start to go wrong? I have had a read through and it seems straight-forward enough? (This is something I was going to do on a warm sunny day Shocked I have not done it, yet!) Perhaps Vogue & HSE seats are put together differently? Also appears to be a different dismantling procedure if there are motorised headrests (I don't have these in my HSE). .

78.30.01
Line 6. to Line 10.
From then on it is a different way of seat construction.
My seats where built October 2002 and they seem a bit more modern than what is described in Rave

Not sure if it helps but I removed the backrest of a 2006 MY (built 2005) seat and gained access to the pump unit.

I hope this helps. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Sometimes it is the only way Smile

The refit will probably be more interesting than the dismantle Laughing .
