Interesting video on Powerful's site showing the assembly of a facelifted 2002 RR to 2009 front end. One thing that I noticed is that he recommends an air duct assembly (two plastic vent parts that screw to the front of the radiator) which I have not seen mentioned on any other conversion detail.

He mentions that the new duct makes sure the air is vented through to the radiator and not to the whole engine bay.

Is it important or something that will really not affect the car? Tom

I think that only relates to petrol models i.e 4.4 engine  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Hi Googsy, that makes sense as petrol engines run hotter. LR do supply them for the 3.6 V8 diesel model, but I guess the Td6 not powerful/hot enough to need it. Tom
