Could be that some unscrupulous toerag has covered the LED inside the pod because it is illuminated all the time, or more likely it could be that there is a fault in the wiring from the ECU to the lamp. |

I can't be sure but I remember that you can turn it off with a Faultmate (so probably also with some others). I have considered it on mine due to the bad quality fuel issues on mine throwing the light all the time. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Did you ever find the cause of this problem Swiftman? Just found out I too have this issue on same model year as yours. 2012 Westminster TDV8 4.4 Indus Silver

Okay, I'm confused now! Owners manual states it should do a bulb check at startup but RAVE suggests it should not? The only reason I noticed mine not lighting was due to having the injector wiring loom failure issue causing a severe misfire last week and generating a fault code which I assumed should also throw up the check engine light? Tried to force a bulb check with IID tool today but it seems to be one of a few instrument cluster bulbs not listed in the available IID menu tests. 2012 Westminster TDV8 4.4 Indus Silver
