England 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Loire Blue

Never ceases to amase me how many people put there lives at risk for the sake of doing a job properly and spending 5mins undoing a 10mm nut.

It has been know for static electricity from a person to set off an airbag, it is not just a big balloon but an explosive device, if it happens to go off when your face is within a foot of it you certainly won't be winning any beauty contests anymore and it could kill you if your very unlucky....

It really is a very simple and easy thing to do to remove the battery, there are no codes to re enter, the only thing you have to do is reset the clock, the radio and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock..... not exactly technical....

Rant over..... Pete

If you follow the correct procedure for disconnecting the battery then no matter what you do with the door airbag! As long as its refitted & plugged in when you re-connect the battery you very much limit your risk of A, light coming on & B, harming yourself etc sir...

Thumbs Up
