Help lost my carphone....

OK I have been stupid and misplaced or lost my nokia phone that came with the car. So empty cradle ( weird just after Xmas Wink ). Found out because I could not get my mobile to work through blue tooth.

Question:

Can I just buy another (now probably second hand) nokia for this cradle type CR-3 put it in and will it work? Which Nokia do I have to look for? Embarassed I really haven't got a clue what was in.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi, I researched this and the newest phone I found you can use is a Nokia 6230i, plenty on eBay, I put a giff gaff card in, one of the few you don't have to keep topping up monthly, as long as you use it once every six months the line stays active. and you only put credit on it once, great as an emergency phone. SC 4.2, 2012 face lifted, 25K miles, 1 previous owner

I really miss my old Fattie when I used the cradle and a 6230i , better reception because I lived in the Highlands and a whole lot of functions you don't get with bluetooth Sad progress eh ? I just wish you could take any phone and clip it in a cradle in the armrest and then access all of your music and phone that way , some how it was better than keeping it in your pocket . 2008 MY Supercharged
