Probably a stupid question but.....

What is the criteria for the New Posts section being reset?

I use the New Posts button a lot and very often I'll see a few posts I wish to read. However, after reading one or two I'll try and go back to New Posts to find the list gone and the advice that nothing matches my search.

I hope I'm not whinge-ing but I am curious to know when / why the reset is done.

Use this link and set the figure at the end for the number of past "Hours" you wish to view then bookmark it in your bookmarks bar or similar..... (I use 6)

Mind - it opened up a whole can of worms If I set it to 6 it works great. If I set it to 12 it works great. If I set it to 9 or 10 I get that last hours worth only

Unread posts have a symbol next to them. Click on that and it take you to the first unread post (<Ctrl>click on it and it will open it in a new tab, leaving the original page unchanged) so you don't need to go to the last page of a thread.
