If I sell my car will the tax be transferable?

No. If you sell or transfer it, you'll have to tell the DVLA and they'll refund you with any full months' tax remaining. If you buy a used vehicle after October 1, you'll have to tax it before you can use it – no more using existing remaining months of tax. Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty,nothing else matters.
