Wd40 and leave for 10 mins . Take the spring pressure off the pin bywedging a screwdriver in and tap it out GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus

i use a similar diameter nail to knock the pin out. ... - .- -.

They can be stubborn on the brembo type calipers, we had one completely stuck in on one hilux, a bit of wd40 should help but DO NOT get it on your discs, it will contaminate your new pads! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Having recently done mine. It's surprising how much you need to whack them to compress the clips that hold it in. As others have said try wiggling a screwdriver to shift the alignment.

I had this problem when trying to do the 4.4 TDV8 front pads. They are different to the earlier 3.6 tdv8. I ended taking it to the local Indy who had to get the torch on them to heat them enough to drift out.

Just received the caliper pin removal tool from USA. Looks spot on. Will try it out at the weekend and post an update. |
