Australia 2003 Range Rover HSE Td6 Java Black

10 years on and the water pump seal blew out.
Much easier to fix second time around.

When I first replaced the pump I didn't realize that I was given the original 1998 pump (and matching thermostat) for the original 2926cc version of the engine (which is what is in the TD6) but that is not what the factory used for the TD6 pump, they used the later (and better) pump from the 2003 Technical Upgrade from the 2993cc variant.

TU2 -


The TU variant is the best (and cheapest). Make sure you get this one with the 3 bolts close to the thermostat outlet forming a triangle around it. Note that the TU2 has an extra inlet from an external, electric water pump. 2003 TD6, EGR delete, vortex crankcase breather update, performance chip, UHF 2 way, Android head unit, crash camera on dash, always-on rear view camera to mirror screen, LED DRL`s, Electric trailer brake controller. FSR replaced. Pulling 3T caravan all about Australia
