Prevent stealing your RR L322/L405

Near to where I live over the last months a few New RRS' and L405 were stolen.

Apparently it seems very easy to steal a RR these days. Somehow they scan your frequency when you lock the car and get going with your car within 60 seconds. Is there anything that can be installed to prevent this crime? 2017 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 silicon silver

Couple of weeks back my wife had a new range rover sport on hire for the weekend from thrifty in Salisbury. They are now supplying all their range rivers with krooklocks which have to be fitted as part of the contract!
So much for technology hey!

Would a hidden master switch, like those on a racing car, do the trick?

Probably not. They don't like sudden power cuts, so a basic kill switch wouldn't work. I'm sure something could be done, but I may be complicated.

I was thinking of hiding it away somewhere difficult to find so it could break the link with the battery, after the normal ignition is switched off .... of course it would stop everything else that runs off the battery as well ... back to the drawing board!

Funny how they never get nicked form long term car parks like airports.
Must be because leave the damn things unattended for more than a week and they sulk and drain the battery Whistle

Not fitted yet but looking at the instructions, it is quite easy. I hope to be in the UK soon so I can fit it, the biggest "issue" is finding the best spot for it. Difficult to find but still not too difficult to get to the positive wire in case a new key needs to be learned. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
