only dripping out not under high press so poss a pipe too dark to do any thing now so will have a look tomorrow afternoon,

can spend all day on it sun mon and tues.

great news guys found pipe from filter to high pressure pump on engine to be very lose|||||

taken off pump new clip placed on pipe going to refit tomorrow

well pipe refitted and non start air in system been purging with hawkeye for thirty mins !!!!!

pre supply pump reading is 3.5 bar

rail pressure 0.0 bar


when cranking pre supply 2.1-3.4 bar

rail 10.5-50.0 bar

air bubbles can be seen in pipes.

in tank pump and pump under car ordered

latest new in tank pump fitted(motor) new secondary pump fitted (rear wheel arch ) fuel bubbling in pipe past filter(new) only registering 1.1 bar pre supply pressure on hawkey . over half a tank of fuel.

any advice please
need to get running asap as going to trade it in for newer ff

pump in tank replaced and running

pump under car replaced and running

just over half a tank of fuel

can hear pumps priming wen the come to stop can hear from the tank a bubbling noise

still lots of air in fuel line after filter

1.1_1.2 bar on hawkeye

thinking put more fuel in tank ?????

Have you managed to start the vehicle since fitting the new filter?

If not did you fill the filter with fresh diesel or fuel cleaner before fitting?

If not then remove the filter and fill it up manually with diesel until it's full, then replace it and make sure your battery is fully charged, then turn the engine over (might take a few minutes) but it should start eventually

wont start ,yes filled the filter and still no joy ,think I will put a few gallons of fuel then see have hawkeye diagnostics for l322 td6 in the manchester area ,pm for deatalis.

still no joy with the thing lots of air in fuel pipe after filter hawkeye saying 1.0-1.1 bar and 0.0 in fuel rail.

You need to find out where it's drawing air into the system

latest on this there is no fuel at the filter and non coming through pip to filter ,can hear a gurgling sound but no efing fuel.

if pump in tank was running would you get fuel to filter?
can hear pump running but might be a fubard pump.
