I have a 2003 Vogue 4.4l with 12k km on it. the letters on the instrument panel some is dissapearing so i decided to change a new unit delivered from the factory. after replacing the panel only indicator or warning lamp works. GAUGEs which include speedo, rpm, temp, fuel etc not working! i did the so what called " exercise " by holding panel button and switch to position 1 and chose number 2 which will make all the meters move and indicate. after doing stil no hope.

Welcome to the forum, shame you have a problem though on your first post!

Have you taken the car to a Land Rover dealer to have the instrument binnacle checked out? I know they are quite an expensive item to replace.

Are you sure the connections are all back as they were? If some lamps which WERE working before are now NOT working, then it can only be an electrical connection issue. Was the replacement instrument panel the correct Model year for your car?

I have not heard of this problem before, anyone esle got any suggestions?

i had a merc clk 55 amg conv and the instument binnacle packed up i got a new recond unit and i had a similer problem i was told that the binnacle had a ecu inside it and it had to be coded to work in my car i found a chap who claimed he could do this he turned up at my house plugged a laptop into my old binnacle then into the new binnacle then said fit in the car and try and guess what it only worked so it could be a similer thing with FFRR onto no6 Range Rover
