I would try wiggling the the wires to the amp connectors with the radio in the on position and see what happens.

OK here we go....Stealer tried to programme new amp....FAILED...needed a phone module as mine was missing even with a prism fitted.....STILL FAILED.....now they are saying they have been in communication with Land Rover technical and it is a gateway problem......so lR say get a donor vehicle programme my amp in that and return to my RR...........Funny how a main dealer and apparantly LR cannot fix a bloody stereo......all I want is music......Can the whole system be ripped out and replaced with an after market decent system?????

Your refit won't be exactly like in the thread above as I'd imagine you have the touch screen model without the bmw infotainment kit in. It's a denso unit, using MOST not ibus.

Should be possible though. Not sure if you'd need a version of the android unit to fit the MOST system though.

May be worth investigating.

Result mate !

Who would have thought, in the days of old, we'd have to have an amp programmed to a car.......

Nice that it worked out. You will love the HK system - awesome sound (unless you need ear bleed volume levels).

We would have been very curious to have a go at your programming prob: I believe the IIDTool may have been capable of programming the amp. We do not do everything the same way IDS/SDD does...
