Remote Heater Keyfob

Evening All....

When my 2007MY SE didn't have the above remote, I twisted the dealers arm to aquire one for me.

This is what has turned up.

A. Is this the right one, it looks different to the outline in the manual?

B. Does it need to be programmed?

C. As you may have guessed, it doesn't work!

finally...(and most likely)

D. Am I doing something wrong?

Cheers

It's the same one as I have for my 2010MY TDv8........................... are you sure your car has Park heat fitted?
You should also be able to set it on a timer function in the touch screen. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I think all the diesel FFRR got park heat as standard (HSE not maybe?) from the Facelift in 2005.
Remote is different to mine, but then mine is late '05.

On my 2004 pre facelift, when i unlock the car with the standard fob, the fuel burning heater fires up, is this normal and would the dealer have programmed the key with this function?

Sorry to slightly hijack the thread Thumbs Up

OK, apprentely this needs programmed to the car at the cost of ~0.5 hours labour.

Just need to get it booked in now. Dealer is picking up the tab for this too. Audi A6 3.0 Allroad Quattro

After two hours in Stratstones in Newport, they decided they didn't know how to programme it.
